A Subtle Time Bomb [9/20/04]

I’m dangerous, shy, and thoughtful.
But I’m a subtle time bomb.
Absorbing all, holding back,
The trigger: something small.
Will it be my anger, a rage so strong and great?
Or will it be my sadness, or will it be my hate?
Will it be confusion, with dizziness and pain?
Which ever it may be, no doubt, I’ll surely go insane!
I sit and wait in silence.
I seem so kind and soft.
But in truth, I’m just a bomb,
Waiting to go off.
